Recently, Yuanhe Energy delivered the lithium titanate energy storage system equipment for the demonstration project of the National Key R&D Program — “Integrated Technology and Application of Multi-Energy Fusion for Waterway Ports and Vessels” (hereinafter referred to as the Demonstration Project).
Lithium titanate batteries offer advantages such as high-rate charge and discharge capabilities, a wide operating temperature range, ultra‑long cycle life, and intrinsic safety. They can be widely used in new energy power generation, peak‑shaving for power grids, microgrids, and other fields, making them particularly well suited for short‑term energy storage applications lasting no more than one hour.
Following Yuanhe Energy’s completion of lithium titanate and lithium iron phosphate energy storage projects for Yongxing Materials in 2023, Yuanhe Energy has collaborated with Yongxing Lithium Battery multiple times, successively delivering hybrid power energy storage projects based on lithium titanate batteries and thermal power frequency modulation energy storage projects. This time, the installation of energy storage equipment under the National Key R&D Program project in the Chuanshan Port Area has been successfully completed, marking another successful application for Yuanhe Energy in the field of short‑term energy storage—with its high rate, high availability, high safety, and high technological barriers.
