On November 9, 2023, equipment for the Datang Binzhou 10MW/10MWH Thermal Power Frequency Modulation Project was shipped. All equipment for this project was manufactured and delivered by the Yuanhe Energy (Shandong) Intelligent Manufacturing Base. The shipment of this project marks that the Yuanhe Energy manufacturing base now has the capability to deliver energy storage systems in bulk.
Yuanhe Energy (Shandong) Intelligent Manufacturing Base is Yuanhe Energy’s first energy storage pack and final assembly intelligent manufacturing base built in Shandong Province. The base features a factory building covering approximately 10,000 square meters and an outdoor storage area of more than 50 mu. Yuanhe Energy (Shandong) Intelligent Manufacturing Base has already put two lithium battery pack production lines into operation and will gradually introduce new production lines, with an annual production capacity exceeding 3 GWh. The final assembly workshop can simultaneously perform final assembly of eMetaCube energy storage modules, integrated boost units, high-voltage ring main units, and centralized control container systems for energy storage power stations. Yuanhe Energy’s self‑designed 3.5 MW tandem testing platform can conduct full‑load tests on 3.45 MW integrated boost units; the cluster tandem testing platform can test multiple eMetaCube energy storage modules concurrently, with a daily testing capacity exceeding 20 MWh. After the base is put into operation, it will provide strong support for the large‑scale production of Yuanhe Energy’s energy storage products.
The Datang Binzhou 10MW/10MWH project is the first delivery project following the commissioning of the Yuanhe Energy (Shandong) Intelligent Manufacturing Base. The project utilizes Yuanhe Energy’s non‑walk‑in modular sub‑compartment all‑liquid‑cooled eMetaCube 5 plus energy storage module, featuring 180AH 1C lithium iron phosphate batteries with high energy density, high safety, and long lifespan. It is equipped with a top‑mounted liquid‑cooling temperature control system that is deeply integrated with the EMS, enabling an intra‑cluster temperature difference of within 3 degrees, an inter‑cluster temperature difference of within 2 degrees, and a maximum temperature at the end of the cycle not exceeding 35 degrees.
The eMetaCube Plus all-liquid-cooled 1C energy storage system features the following characteristics:
- Safety: Yuanhe Energy’s eMetaCube energy storage system employs multiple safety protection measures, including distributed fire suppression, millisecond-level electrical protection, physical compartmentalization, and electrical safety isolation, ensuring the safe operation of the energy storage system.
