The project is located in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total capacity of 6 MW/6 MWh for the first phase of its energy storage system. The 2 MW/4 MWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack is primarily used to shave peaks and fill valleys, helping to reduce factory electricity costs; the 4 MW/2 MWh lithium titanate battery pack is mainly employed to smooth factory load, stabilize factory voltage and frequency, and enhance grid stability. The project is also connected to Zhejiang Province’s virtual power plant operation platform. The successful grid connection and operation of this project marks a new breakthrough in the application of hybrid energy storage in the industrial and commercial energy storage sector, demonstrating that hybrid energy storage systems can fully leverage the advantages of different types of energy storage batteries and significantly improve the overall performance of energy storage systems.
